Sam Roller recently completed a full design build for our walk-out basement in our personal home. The previous footprint was completely unfinished and dysfunctional. Sam’s creativity and brilliance was able to transform an ambiguous and cold basement to a functionally sound entertainment space with fantastic natural light and amazing flow. Sam’s assiduity to our objectives was abundantly clear, specifications are modern, call-outs made sense for our goals and the space is seemingly timeless. We cannot wait to create memories with our family and friends with this spacious 1,000 square foot addition.

The custom checkout area is equally impressive, offering exceptional functionality, abundant storage, and thoughtfully designed display space for smaller products. We recently purchased a fixer upper and were quickly overwhelmed with the list of projects. We wanted to add value to our small starter home but also increase our quality of life, and Sam was a huge help in this process.
She spent an entire afternoon with us, measuring the second floor spaces we were considering adding a bathroom. She talked us through the pros and cons of each room, working on detailed designs for both and helping us discern the right fit. She considered the logistics and building codes – can a bathroom actually fit in the space? How does it sketch out on paper? But just as importantly she prioritized how it would feel to live in and use functionally (which is especially important in a small room). In the end, we landed on a design that we are excited to build, and we would gladly recommend her to anyone embarking on a home design project.
